HEAR YE! HEAR YOW!

So, it’s been like days or a week since I've posted a product review (I think?)

Well, here’s another must-try toner for you guys for the month of LOVE. I know that you wanted to be ready for your date! (me too) But we need to make sure that our skin is prepared for that lovey-dovey experience (hahaha).

Okay! I’m going to introduce you the CLEAN FACE MILD TONER by THE FACE SHOP. Base on the name of this product, yes! It is a mild, not alcohol-based type of toner. BUT BEFORE I SAY THE PROS AND CONS, let us check the main or ingredients of this MILD TONER:

• TEA TREE LEAF EXTRACT

- Low hazard (what I mean is its negative reaction to your skin, especially for sensitive skin) to your skin[1]; function as a skin conditioning agent for infections (skin infections)[2]

• DIPOTASSIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE

- Same as a tea tree serves as a skin conditioning agent to improve the appearance of dry/ damaged skin and also functions as an anti-irritant with anti-inflammatory and has skin soothing capabilities[3].
- It also helps to even out skin tone[4].

• PHENOXYETHANOL

- Functions as a disinfectant, antiseptic or antibiotic; primarily used as a preservative in cosmetic and beauty products.
- Too much exposure from this ingredient can be linked to allergic reactions.

•Other ingredients are preservatives to prolonged shell life of any cosmetic products.

PROS and CONS:

→ Good for sensitive skin, especially for acne-prone skin
→ Oiliness on my t-zone decreases, only a few pimples or acne sizes decreased but it doesn’t remove them.
→ Will definitely last for almost 2 months
→ Affordable but kinda pricey for a student budget
→ Feels like you need to clean your face again(I don’t know how to explain it but I bet you know what I mean, especially if you are used to alcohol-based or astringent type of cleanser or toner)

PRICE: P600 (price varies upon the seller)
