<p>I was just trying to remove the thank you page from one of my landing pages on Kit (formerly ConvertKit)... and guess what? </p><p>I accidentally deleted the whole landing page 😅. So after figuring things out (and recreating the page from scratch 😩), I’m sharing the exact steps here so you don’t make the same mistake. Every month, I do these basic steps to maintain my computer [drives of my computer]. Old or new models requires care.<br />

I just want to share with you guys how I maintain my computer and make sure that its performance is optimal. [I'm not a professional computer technician, but maybe this might help "or not"]<br />

• <i><b>Know the specifications of your computer [device]</b></i><br />
<br />
Any type of device, whether big or small, you have to know how it fully works. For example, I have a smartphone, but I don't know that it has this feature to detect some lifeforms [exaggerated] since it was not part of my needs or reasons why I bought it, I don't mind knowing it. Yes, it might be unnecessary, but "maybe" in the future, you might need it.<br />

• <i><b>Research and Study </b></i><br />
<br />
Not just researching before buying it, but also after buying it. I bought a laptop because it functions well for my job. BUT it also gives me that excitement, since the laptop that I bought can keep up with the games that I want.<br />

<i><b>• Install Anti-malware / Anti-Virus [but is not necessary]</b></i><br />
<br />
Most of my friends and family members have been buying anti-virus every year!!!!!! yet their computer is still not improving and programs are crashing, ending up they need to format or wipe a computer back to factory settings!  I never bought one and up until now my computer is surviving, but I'm not saying you don't. It really depends on how you take care of your device. I install anti-malware each month that I have to do a cleanup or maintain my drive, I'll remove the program when I'm done using it. Yes, you will need to schedule that every month, but it might save you a penny.<br />

What is the importance of defragmenting your drives?<br />

→It relocates the file.<br />
→Defragmenting a hard disk is like a bookshelf that has organized books [categorized genres].<br />
→ Also, defragmenting does help you to have easier access to your files, so you would know that are the things to remove [PUT IN THAT RECYCLE BIN!!!] or to stay.<br />

<br />
<i><b>• Download from reputable source [if necessary]</b></i><br />
<i><b><br /></b></i>
<b style="font-style: italic;">-</b>Necessary means - as much as possible. Nevertheless, I'm also downloading from sites that my computer can be prone to hacks or malware programs. You just really have to be always sneaky when it comes to downloading from an unreputable source.<br />
<br />
For example, the all-time famous "pirate bay". Do not install based on the "download rate" instead, always check the "<b>seeds</b>". Also, make sure to check the skull icon [the color pink or green] under the name of the file which means it is a trusted source.<br />
<br />
If possible, after you install and follow all the steps from the file, remember to scan your computer for malware or virus threats [you might never know].<br />

<i><b> </b></i><i><b>• </b></i><i><b>De-clutter the memory </b></i><br />
<i><b><br /></b></i>
-Remove unwanted or unnecessary files. If you don't need it trashed it! But best to uninstall it first.<br />
<br />
-Deleting a program / application:<br />
Click the windows icon > type "Control Panel" > Uninstall the "program"<br />
<br />
Note: Even if you delete the program or application, it does not mean the whole file itself is completely removed.<br />
<br />
So to check, click the windows icon > type "This PC" then click "OS (C:)"  [which is also located under "Devices and drives"] > Look for "Program Files or Program Files (x86)" and then search for the file you wanted to delete.<br />

Okay! So, last week, I bought a new internet Lan cable for my laptop, because my dog [Ishie] bit my cable. I'm not actually having this kind of problem before, where I have to do something on the settings, configure some stuff [na-a]. Somehow, it just keeps on showing "<i>identifying"</i>, which is really not GOOD. [because man if you're playing with a wholesome game graphics then you need fast internet, wifi does not work for me, especially in the Philippines] </div>
