Everyday;

You stare at yourself, asking why;

Why do you pretend so much?

To be strong,

To be upright,

To be helpful,

To be kind,

And,

To always smile.

Why do you always have to be the one...

To give way for the others;

Yet always leave yourself alone.

Only sparing a crumb of kindness to yourself.

Right now,

You are alone in your room;

Repeatedly asking these questions;

With regret and tears in your eyes

Do you deserve it?
