This is a message for all the people who think spreading rumors, committing violence, bullying, molesting women and children, disrespecting elders, and violating others’ rights is normal. These actions leave deep scars on people. 😖😔😖
I, we, are trying so hard to be happy. We try to forgive and even help you again, to give you another chance. But sometimes, we can’t help but remember the past and what you did.
I tried to find ways to breathe in this overwhelming life. I choose carefully who I befriend and trust.
I shut myself off from others just to avoid situations or people that might hurt me again. And yes, sometimes that feels selfish or immature.
It’s hard to fully forgive. Even when you’ve moved on, the memory of what someone did can suddenly resurface. But facing those feelings with courage and maturity is part of healing.
The past is hard to forget; it can come back at any moment, any day. But we must keep looking forward, believing that someday we’ll wake up with the strength to smile at those memories and finally move past them.
