DermCare Product review : 4-in-1 Exfoliant-whitening cream with sunblock and vitamin E

One of the products that I selected to review for this month is "tretinoin + hydroquinone: 4-in-1 exfoliant -whitening cream" of Dermcare

Description:

Benefits: Helps remove skin problems like • Uneven Skin Tone • Dark Spots • Pimples • Freckles • Dark acne scars • Age spots • Skin Blemishes • Dark knees or inner thighs, neck, underarms, and elbows • Hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure • Melasma • Chloasma • Lentigines •

Directions:

Apply and rub cream evenly on the affected areas twice daily (morning and evening) after cleansing. For maintenance, use every other day. 

Information about tretinoin and hydroquinone:

Tretinoin :

- This may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop (webmd.com). 

- This product may harm pregnant women. It is advisable not to recommend to pregnant women.

- Using this product in large amounts can cause more severity, redness and swollen of acne.

- Replace older skin to a new one.

- treats wrinkles, hyperpigmentations, and rough skin 

- It may also be used to treat other skin diseases

Hydroquinone :

- Lightens dark patches of skin

- one of the most used skin bleaching agent  to lighten areas of the skin

- Some women may experience minor and temporary skin irritations including mild itching or stinging and reddening of the skin(ww.dermnetnz.org)

- Side effects that should warrant stopping the cream and seeking medical advice immediately include severe burning, itching, crusting, or swelling of treated areas

- Prolonged use of hydroquinone has been associated with the development of exogenous ochronosis

IMPORTANTE REMINDERS :

- This product is not recommended for pregnant women.

- Do not use on children under 12 years.

- do not apply the large amount, it causes more severity in your acne and redness in your skin

- This is my skin now after using it for three (3) days of using it to my left part of the face  ♥♥♥

PROS :

→Affordable, for about P189.00 

→lightens blemishes and fades acne for only 2 - 3 days of using

→Long term use, I just use a pea-size amount on every part of my face 

CONS:

→It does have a peeling effect you can see that after using it for just one day

→it stings a little bit at first, especially if you use it for your acne

→Can't find it in our place, I use to go to malls just to find this product 

ADDITIONAL NOTES: (Base from my experience, as shown above, the peeling effect starts to appear the next day after you use it, the effect is much more visible on the fourth day after using it and one of the technique for the dark spots on your face to  fade fast is to use a whitening facial wash, it did increase more the peeling effect plus the fading, moreover, you can use more than the pea-size amount especially if the severity or darkness of the spot is too much, but when using this make sure it is the only tretinoin hydroquinone product you are using ...)

UPDATE!!! This product is still available to Dermcare, however, they change the packaging. Instead of the tube, they put it into a cream jar. So just show them this picture [above].
